The NSRA Fun on the Beach 2024: A Spectacular Event!

The NSRA Fun on the Beach 2024 event was an incredible success, bringing together hot rod enthusiasts, music lovers, and families for a weekend full of fun and excitement in Great Yarmouth. This event was held on the 13th and 14th of July 2024, transformed Joyland Plaza and the surrounding areas into a vibrant hub of activity and showcased the best of the hot rod community.

Event Highlights:

Saturday, July 13th: The festivities kicked off at 10 AM with show car parking at Anchor Gardens and the Joyland Diner. The sight of stunning hot rods lining the seafront set the perfect tone for the day. At 11 AM, the live music began, creating an energetic and fun atmosphere that lasted throughout the day. As the afternoon progressed, participants enjoyed a fantastic cruise to the Smoke House, where more live music, delicious food, and great company awaited.

Sunday, July 14th: Sunday continued the excitement with the Show and Shine event starting at 9 AM. The polished and pristine hot rods on display were a sight to behold. The day was filled with admiration and camaraderie among car enthusiasts. The event culminated in a full prize-giving ceremony at 3 PM, where the top hot rods were awarded, adding a thrilling conclusion to a fantastic weekend.

Special Appearances:

We were delighted to welcome Sam Dingle (James Hooton) from Emmerdale, who added an extra layer of excitement to the event. Sam took time to meet fans, sign autographs, and even enjoyed a ride on our world-famous Super Snails, proving that no visit to Yarmouth is complete without experiencing this classic attraction.

Music and Entertainment:

The event featured live performances from incredible bands, including Those Deadbeat Cats, Fourplay, Lowrider, and Sarah Mai. Their music provided the perfect backdrop to the weekend, keeping spirits high and attendees dancing.
