  • What time do you open/close?

    Joyland is open mid/late March till the end of October. We generally open daily at 11am but this is weather and trade permitting. We don’t advertise a closing time as we base this on weather and trade. For more information on opening dates and times click here to visit our Opening Times page.

  • How much are the tokens/rides?

    How much are the tokens/rides?

    Entry to Joyland is free and always will be! We operate a token system, with all rides requiring 1 token per person—all ages need a token to ride.

    Tokens are £3 each, and you can buy as many or as few as you like. We accept both cash and card for token purchases. Tokens never expire but are non-refundable once you leave the token box.

    We also offer two value bags:

    £30 Value Bag: Includes 12 tokens (2 extra tokens FREE!)

    £60 Value Bag: Includes 25 tokens (5 extra tokens FREE!)

  • Can we bring dogs into the park?

    Dogs are allowed in and around Joyland so long as they are on a lead, dogs are unable to ride and attraction at Joyland.

  • How old are the Snails?

    The Snails at Joyland have been opened and operated since 1949, that makes the Snails 75 years old as of 2024.

  • Can you buy tokens online before visiting?

    Tokens for Joyland can only be purchased from the token box or token machines in Joyland. We are unable to sell tokens online for future visits, sorry!

  • Where can I view my ride photos?

    You can view your ride photos at the photo hut just opposite the token box and snail ride. When you come off either the Snails, Spook Express or Jet Cars you will be given a sticker with a number on it, quote that to any of the photography team and they will be able to show you your photo!
